The Truck Wire Cutter (TWC) cuts stock width and operates the splicer, ensuring the equipment functions properly and the product meets required tolerances and specifications. The role verifies stock tags and product quality, performs changeovers as needed, and moves empty and pull cassettes into storage slots. This is heavy work in a non-climate-controlled environment with temperature swings, noise, and forklift and pedestrian traffic. Safety procedures and guidelines must always be followed, including wearing hearing protection and steel-toe shoes. New hires will likely be assigned a shift that includes evenings and weekends. Comprehensive training is provided; training lasts 6–12 weeks. The hourly starting rate is $28.20 and increases to $29.75 after training is complete. The position is eligible for a quarterly incentive program and shift differentials: $0.20 per hour for evening shifts, $0.40 per hour for overnight shifts, and $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts. Pay is based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. No relocation assistance is offered.
