About The Position

A Wire Cutter at Capital Electric coils, spools, cuts, and labels wire according to customer orders. The role requires attention to detail and accuracy. Capital Electric supplies electrical products and services to contractors and is part of the Sonepar group.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience; electrical distribution industry experience is preferred.
• Dependable mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Reliability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Cut wire to the length specified on ticket orders.
• Label wire and deliver it to the correct routing staging area.
• Maintain organization and neatness in the wire room.
• Be punctual and work diligently with coworkers.
• Multitask and continually prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as required.
