About The Position

The Wire Cutter Associate measures, cuts, and prepares wire and cables to meet customer specifications. The role requires attention to detail, compliance with safety protocols, and the ability to operate specialized cutting equipment. The position is located in Aurora, Colorado, with a scheduled shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Pay starts at $22.00 per hour, with a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The associate works with warehouse, shipping, and production teams to process orders accurately and on time. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
Basic math skills, including the ability to read and interpret measurements.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with wire-cutting tools and equipment.
Forklift certification; it is an advantage but is not required.
Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar role.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut wire and cable accurately to customer orders and specifications using appropriate tools and machinery.
Safely operate wire-cutting machines and tools and keep equipment in good working condition.
Inspect wire and cable for defects or damage before and after cutting.
Label and package cut wires accurately for shipment or storage.
Track wire and cable inventory and report low stock or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Record cutting activities, measurements, and quantities in the inventory or order management system.
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment while handling wire and equipment.
Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
Keep the cutting station clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
