About The Position

This is a bi-weekly truck unloader position for a retail store in Laconia, NH. Availability on Monday at 3 am is required for truck unloading. Shifts from Tuesday to Friday typically range from 8 am to 12 pm, outside of truck unload times. Weekend availability may be needed for special projects or community events. The role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in finding products, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Key responsibilities include completing truck unloading, merchandise duties, maintaining store recovery standards, assisting with Omni channel processes, and supporting safety and shrink programs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

  • Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store.
  • Maintain store recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Perform merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go-back process and general store recovery.
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remaining positive and respectful.
  • Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Other duties as assigned.
