About The Position
Firematic is seeking a skilled Truck Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. The role includes working on automotive, medium-duty, and heavy-duty trucks, as well as servicing Fire and EMS vehicles, small gas engines, and supporting equipment. The technician’s hands-on mechanical work supports the safety and performance of equipment used by first responders. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Starting pay is $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.
Requirements
- Be a self-starter with a positive, can-do mindset.
- Have a CDL B with Air Brakes, or be able to obtain one within one year.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of diesel engines.
- Familiarity with current automotive, truck, and emergency vehicle maintenance practices.
- ASE and/or EVT certifications.
