Diesel Truck Technician
About The Position
Qualified Diesel Truck Mechanics are needed for a busy, clean, polished, and equipped truck shop in Miami, Florida. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel trucks and trailers from manufacturers including Hino, Ottawa Trucks, East, Pitts and Dorsey Trailers, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Cummins, and Detroit. Systems include engines, air conditioning, electrical, exhaust, brakes, axles, and more. Knowledgeable, reliable, and team-oriented technicians will join an established team and provide quality repairs. Compensation starts at $40.00–$55.00 per hour, based on experience and training, with hourly and flat-rate options available. The schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, either 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel trucks and trailers.
- Experience working on trucks and systems from manufacturers including Hino, Ottawa Trucks, East, Pitts and Dorsey Trailers, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Cummins, and Detroit.
- Be knowledgeable, reliable, and team-oriented.
