Diesel Truck Technician
About The Position
MasterTech is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians for a repair facility in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The large, clean, and safe facility is equipped to service diesel trucks and trailers. Candidates from entry level through master technician are welcome. Training, certifications, and career-growth opportunities are available. OEM and ASE training are provided. Compensation is $30.00–$46.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a flexible start time of 6:00–8:00 AM for first shift or 2:30–3:30 PM for second shift; second shift includes a $4.00-per-hour shift premium. Overtime is available up to 60 hours per week.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of mechanic or technician experience on diesel trucks, trailers, automotive vehicles, heavy equipment, or related equipment.
- Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools, such as Cummins InSite, Diagnostic Link, and Tech Tool.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own set of tools.
- Able to complete background checks, a physical examination, and drug screening upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- ASE and OEM certifications are preferred for higher technician levels but are not required.
- Completion certificate in Diesel Technology or a related field is preferred but not required.
