Diesel Truck Technician
About The Position
Qualified Diesel Truck Mechanics are needed for a busy, clean, polished, and equipped truck shop in Miami, Florida. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel trucks and trailers from manufacturers including Hino, Ottawa Trucks, East, Pitts and Dorsey Trailers, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Cummins, and Detroit. Systems include engines, air conditioning, electrical, exhaust, brakes, axles, and more. Diesel technicians will join an established team and provide quality repairs. Compensation is $40.00–$55.00 per hour to start, based on experience and training. Hourly and flat-rate options are available. The schedule is a day shift, Monday through Friday, either 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel trucks and trailers.
- Knowledge of truck and trailer systems including engines, air conditioning, electrical, exhaust, brakes, and axles.
- Knowledgeable, reliable, and team-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical and diagnostic experience is preferred.
- Experience with Hino, Ottawa Trucks, East, Pitts and Dorsey Trailers, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Cummins, and Detroit vehicles or equipment.
