About The Position

TA/LV Petroleum is seeking a Truck Shop Manager to oversee the full truck service department at its Atkins, Arkansas location. The manager is responsible for shop performance, including customer satisfaction and financial targets, and leads operations serving heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs. The role involves managing and developing service staff, improving revenue and profitability, maintaining safety and compliance, and engaging with customers to resolve escalations.

Requirements

Proven experience leading truck service, diesel repair, or related service center operations.
Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty truck and trailer systems.
At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role; preferably in truck stop, service bay, or logistics environments.
Hands-on leadership style and ability to train and inspire a diverse team.
Comfort using systems for scheduling, work order management, and parts inventory.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead daily shop operations and ensure timely, professional service for heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs.
Recruit, coach, and develop technicians and service staff to support strong customer service and operational execution.
Monitor key performance indicators and implement initiatives to grow shop revenue, manage labor costs, and reduce downtime.
Champion safety protocols and ensure the shop complies with company and industry standards.
Serve as the service center’s customer-facing representative, resolve escalations, and provide a positive customer experience.
