About The Position

The Truck Gate Security employee helps maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling assigned locations. The role preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Duties include customer service, truck-gate access control, CCTV monitoring, property tours, and report writing. The employee must follow post orders, complete assigned rounds, identify and report safety concerns or suspicious activity, and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Use technology devices throughout the shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Perform truck-gate and access-control duties.
• Monitor CCTV.
• Write reports.
• Carry out other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required at the assigned site.
• Respond to emergencies using rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
