About The Position

Knife River Wyoming is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting materials to designated locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, including a drug-free work environment. The position involves daily truck inspections, reporting needed repairs, and operating various types of trucks and equipment. Flexibility in work shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays, is expected. Knife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B (straight truck) license with acceptable driving record.
• Must have and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Acceptable driving record and required endorsements.
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance free.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude and communication skills toward all team members and customers.
• Occasional lifting of 20-50#
• Frequently lifting 10-25#
• Constantly lifting up to 10#

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving a belly dump, lowboy, tanker, mixer or straight truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily truck inspections and report needed repairs.
• Transport material to designated locations safely and in a timely manner with great customer service.
• Follow work assignment instructions and/or orders of Supervisor.
• Start, stop, control, and adjust machines or equipment for which a course must be steered or guided.
• Observe gauges and dials, estimate distances, and determine speed and direction of other objects.
• Turn cranks and wheels and push or pull gear lifts or levers.
• Maintain a DOT medical card and required endorsements.
• Pass a Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance free.
