About The Position
HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting seasoned, highly skilled CDL-A Drivers to join one of our valued client partners. This opportunity is designed for professional drivers seeking competitive weekly earnings, dependable over-the-road freight, modern equipment, and consistent home time while supporting a well-established transportation operation. This position is ideal for safety-focused drivers who value professionalism, reliability, and long-term career stability while transporting primarily refrigerated freight throughout regional and national routes. The CDL-A Driver will support over-the-road transportation operations by safely and efficiently transporting freight while maintaining exceptional service standards and full DOT compliance. Drivers will operate late-model Freightliner tractors equipped with automatic transmissions while hauling primarily refrigerated, no-touch freight.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum three months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Safe driving history with commitment to DOT compliance.
- Ability to support extended over-the-road assignments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Stable employment history.
- U.S.-based citizens only. No exceptions.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight while maintaining on-time delivery performance.
- Operate assigned over-the-road routes while following all DOT regulations.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and transportation documentation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and operations personnel.
- Deliver exceptional service while representing the company professionally.
- Transport primarily refrigerated no-touch freight.
- Operate Freightliner tractors that are three years old or newer.
- Pull modern 53-foot trailers equipped with automatic transmissions.
- Complete over-the-road assignments lasting approximately two to three weeks.
- Protect freight while maintaining delivery schedules.
- Support consistent and efficient freight movement across assigned routes.
