About The Position

Wolverine Trucking is seeking experienced CDL A driving professionals to join their team in Brevort, MI. This role involves safely operating a tractor-trailer truck, including sand box and dump trailers, to transport bulk sand material for both internal and external customers. The position offers steady, year-round work with the potential to be constantly busy. Drivers can expect to be home after every shift, with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, 60 hours per week, though some weekends may be required. Requirements

• Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory
• Minimum one-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred
• Ability to drive tractor-trailer on multiple routes
• Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle
• Acceptable drivers abstract
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Communicate effectively
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Experience with sand box hauling is preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends an asset

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck, pull both sand box and dump trailers
• Haul various bulk sand material
• Properly track and document activity log
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Report any issues or incidents to operations manager
