About The Position

Wolverine Trucking is searching for CDL A driving professionals to complement their team in Brevort, MI. At Wolverine, we work for internal and external customers, so there is the potential to be constantly busy transporting bulk sand to a variety of locations. The available schedule is 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., typically Monday to Friday, with approximately 60 hours per week. Some weekends may be required. Drivers can expect to be home after every shift.

Requirements

• Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory
• Minimum one-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred
• Experience with sand box hauling is preferred
• Ability to drive tractor-trailer on multiple routes
• Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle
• Acceptable drivers abstract
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Communicate effectively
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck, pull both sand box and dump trailers
• Haul various bulk sand material
• Properly track and document activity log
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Report any issues or incidents to operations manager.
