About The Position

Menchey Music Service, the area's largest family-owned music company, is seeking bright individuals for seasonal positions within its Warehouse team to support the back-to-school season. These positions are available from mid-August to mid-October and offer flexible hours, with options for 20-40 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to supplement their income, such as stay-at-home parents, courier workers, gig workers, or part-time employees, and to contribute to the experience of new band and orchestra students discovering music.

Requirements

• Previous employment experience preferred
• Valid Class C driver's license (CDL not required) - required for delivery driver positions only
• Problem solving and attention to detail.
• Working independently and time management.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and load or unload items without help.
• Safe driving skills (delivery drivers only). Maintain a clean driving record and follow all traffic safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruments and accessories to schools and retail locations, and return items to the Operations Center on schedule.
• Load, organize, and secure the delivery vehicle to ensure safe and accurate deliveries.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and school representatives, and keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Receive, inspect, and organize rental instruments and accessories to keep inventory accurate and ready for the season.
• Pull, prepare, and stage rental orders for outgoing deliveries.
• Work with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
