About The Position

Helena Agri-Enterprises is hiring local CDL Truck Drivers who are home every night and paid hourly. Drivers represent Helena courteously and professionally on the road and at the home office, using tact and diplomacy with customers, employees, and leaders. The position involves loading and unloading trailers, transporting loads, handling shipping paperwork, performing basic vehicle service checks, and providing customer service. Regular and reliable attendance and compliance with company policies and procedures are required. The work is performed in warehouse and outdoor environments, in varying weather and with potential exposure to moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes, particles, chemicals, biological hazards, vibration, and electrical shock. The role requires substantial standing, walking, sitting, manual handling, and other physical activity. Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to meet all company requirements for driving a Helena vehicle.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing for 8 hours or more, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to and including 50 pounds or more, and reaching overhead with loads up to and including 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using a forklift or hand truck.
• Transport loads along required routes to their proper destinations.
• Obtain shipping bills and required signatures.
• Return completed paperwork to the shipping office.
• Remove empty skids from the trailer and carry them to the designated piling area.
• Perform daily vehicle service checks, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and tire air.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other work-related duties assigned by the leader.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
