About The Position

Helena Agri-Enterprises is hiring local CDL drivers who are home every night and paid hourly. Truck Drivers represent Helena courteously and professionally on the road and at the home office, using tact and diplomacy when working with customers, employees, and leaders. The role involves loading and unloading trailers, transporting deliveries, completing shipping paperwork, maintaining the vehicle, and providing customer service. Regular and reliable attendance and compliance with company policies are required.

Requirements

Class A CDL.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Valid U.S. driver's license and compliance with all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle.
Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, including standing for eight or more hours, handling loads of 50 pounds or more, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred.
Spanish communication skills are valuable.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trailers using a forklift or hand truck.
Transport loads along required routes to their proper destinations.
Obtain shipping bills and necessary signatures.
Return completed paperwork to the shipping office.
Remove empty skids from the trailer and carry them to the designated piling area.
Perform routine vehicle service duties, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and tire air daily.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the leader.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Represent Helena courteously and professionally, using tact and diplomacy with customers, employees, and leaders.
