About The Position
At RDO Equipment Co., the Truck Driver (Heavy Haul) safely transports equipment and supports dealership operations while representing the company and building customer connections. The role includes picking up, hauling, and delivering equipment—including oversized loads—and supplies to dealership locations and customers. Drivers follow delivery instructions, routing requirements, and permit requirements; maintain mileage and delivery records; and provide basic operational guidance to customers when needed. The position is part of a collaborative Field Support Office team.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a current health card.
- Experience operating heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment.
- Knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures for equipment transport.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Valid work authorization and ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Safely pick up, haul, and deliver equipment, including oversized loads, and supplies to and from dealership locations and customers.
- Follow delivery instructions, routing requirements, and permitting needs for each load.
- Track mileage, maintain delivery documentation, and obtain required signatures and receipts.
- Provide basic operational guidance to customers during equipment delivery when needed.
