Requirements

Responsible for preparation and maintenance of records.
Must be accurate in counts and identification of parts received and stored.
Required to place goods in a safe and orderly manner.
Knowledge of warehouse location and inventory control system.
Knowledge of plant operation to route parts to proper locations.
Legible handwriting is required.
Must have CDL Class “A” license to operate outside tractors.
Must be familiar with safety and operating load regulations.
Must exercise caution and care to prevent damage to the load in transit.

Responsibilities

Receives and moves parts from various sources and stages parts/materials at outside locations.
Responsible for accurate physical count of parts.
May sign for correct shipments and record quantity discrepancies or damaged parts.
Delivers parts in an orderly manner to the proper designation.
Prepares necessary documentation for records, including part number, description, count, and storage locations.
Responsible for count accuracy of trailer loads or parts being moved between locations.
May record material information using a CRT terminal.
Takes physical inventory of parts in outside locations by counting or weighing to verify counts against inventory control records.
Operates all motorized equipment in an orderly and safe manner.
Reports operating deficiencies to Maintenance or Material Handling Supervisor.
Performs minor mechanical repairs to assigned motorized equipment.
Loads and unloads bales and operates supporting equipment as needed.
