About The Position

Wesco is hiring a non-CDL Truck Driver for an active vacancy intended for immediate hire. The role transports cargo to and from specified destinations and involves preparing, receiving, and providing appropriate delivery or pickup documentation to ensure timely service. Applicants must have a satisfactory driving record and the applicable truck driver license for the state. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Applicable truck driver license for the state.
• Two years of truck driving experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Near, far, and night vision.
• Ability to detect differences in sounds varying in pitch and loudness.
• Ability to quickly respond with a hand, finger, or foot to signals such as sound, light, or pictures.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo.
• Maintain contact with the dispatcher to receive delivery or pickup instructions.
• Verify inventory load contents against shipping papers.
• Maintain records in accordance with regulations.
• Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
• Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for deliveries and pickups.
