Truck Driver III - Rolloff

About The Position

PADNOS is hiring a Truck Driver III to drive company trucks and transport, deliver, and position trucks and/or large equipment to and from customer accounts and PADNOS facilities. Equipment may include Rolloff trucks (7 or 8 axle), Luggers with a pup, Hook Trucks with a pup, Rolloff Double Sets, Double Dumps, or Mobile Cranes. The driver must be trained and able to safely operate PADNOS transportation equipment, including Luggers, Lugger Pups, Roll-Offs, Doubles, and Van Trailers. The schedule alternates between Saturday–Tuesday in Week 1 and Sunday–Tuesday in Week 2, with shifts from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PADNOS describes itself as a leader in recycling and resource recovery, focused on innovation, sustainability, safety, continuous improvement, and team-member career growth.

Requirements

At least 1 year of truck driving experience.
CDL Class A license with no manual-transmission restriction (E restriction).
Clean driving record.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely at all times.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Must be over 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation user maintenance.
Complete and submit required reports.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Prepare shipping documents, weigh loads, and inspect materials.
Maintain paperwork such as scale tickets, shipper documents, logbooks, and trip reports.
Inspect loads and tarp or secure them as necessary.
Maintain and protect all entrusted property in excellent condition.
