About The Position

PADNOS is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver III for local routes out of Howell, Michigan. The position is home daily and involves driving company trucks such as rolloffs, luggers, hook trucks, double dumps, and mobile cranes to transport, deliver, and position trucks or large equipment at customer accounts and PADNOS facilities. Drivers must be trained and able to safely operate PADNOS transportation equipment, including luggers, lugger pups, rolloffs, doubles, and van trailers. The schedule is 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Week 1 runs Saturday through Tuesday; Week 2 runs Sunday through Tuesday. The role supports shipping and receiving operations, customer deliveries and pickups, load inspection and securement, and related documentation and equipment maintenance. Requirements

At least 1 year of truck-driving experience.
CDL Class A license with no manual transmission restriction (E restriction).
Clean driving record.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely at all times.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Must be over 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation user maintenance and complete and submit required reports.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Prepare shipping documents, weigh loads, and perform material inspections.
Maintain paperwork for scale tickets, shippers, logbooks, trip reports, and other necessary records.
Inspect loads and tarp or secure loads as necessary.
Maintain and protect entrusted property in excellent condition.
Transport, deliver, and position trucks and/or large equipment to and from customer accounts and PADNOS facilities.
Safely operate PADNOS transportation equipment, including luggers, lugger pups, rolloffs, doubles, and van trailers.
