About The Position

The Truck Builder uses Truck Builder software to lay out and assemble trailer loads, aiming to maximize the number of cases per truck and make loading and unloading safe and efficient. The role includes analyzing load plans, maintaining equipment and supplies, addressing driver concerns, and assisting with trailer loading to meet production goals. Work takes place at a desk in an office environment and in warehouse areas, including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., in Aurora, Illinois. The starting pay is $25 per hour; the expected base rate is stated as $19.56 to $32.59 per hour. Overtime compensation may apply. Requirements

High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to support others in the department and division.

Responsibilities

Use Truck Builder software to lay out and assemble each trailer load.
Analyze load plans to maximize safety and efficiency when loading and unloading products.
Maintain equipment and ensure necessary materials are available; order supplies as needed.
Respond to driver concerns about loads and adjust loads as needed to address concerns and improve efficiency.
Assist with loading trailers as needed to meet daily production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
