About The Position

True Adventure Travel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Remote Travel Agent to help clients plan and book personalized vacations. The company is fully remote, with a team of travel agents located around the world, and promotes responsible and sustainable travel practices. This is a part-time, remote/telecommute position with flexibility to work from anywhere in the world. The role involves understanding clients’ preferences and budgets, researching and recommending travel options, creating customized itineraries, booking travel services, and supporting clients throughout the booking process. The consultant also stays informed about travel-related developments, collaborates with teammates to improve services, and maintains accurate booking and client records.

Responsibilities

Communicate with clients through phone, email, and other channels to understand their travel preferences and needs.
Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, and activities based on clients’ interests and budgets.
Create customized itineraries that may include flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
Book flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and other travel services.
Provide excellent customer service and support client satisfaction throughout the booking process.
Stay up to date on industry trends, travel regulations, and destination information.
Collaborate with team members to improve services and offerings.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of bookings and client interactions.
