About The Position
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Trial Attorney in Birmingham, Alabama, to join its growing practice. The attorney will represent plaintiffs in litigation, primarily in motor vehicle and trucking accident cases, and will handle trial preparation and trials. The firm emphasizes frequent courtroom exposure and requires attorneys to gain trial experience. Attorneys have access to case docket management software, litigation resources, and other resources supporting case development.
Requirements
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Alabama.
- Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle litigation cases day to day.
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
- Guide clients through the case process.
- Work with expert witnesses, including attending conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
- Prepare for and conduct trials.
