About The Position

As a Tree Climber on the General Tree Care Team, you help preserve and enhance the health of clients’ landscapes. The role involves outdoor work and performing climbing and pruning duties using safe and efficient techniques. It is physically active, and safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential. You work as part of a crew to deliver high-quality tree care and maintain professional standards when serving clients.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Desire to work outdoors in a physically active role.
• Willingness to learn tree climbing without spurs, proper pruning techniques, tree and shrub identification, tree care safety standards, and chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Ability to climb trees, work at heights, and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a crew to provide tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
• Safely operate climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment.
• Apply proper pruning techniques and tree care practices.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Deliver excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards.
