About The Position

As a Tree Climber in Training on the General Tree Care Team, you will help preserve and enhance the health of clients’ landscapes. The role involves working outdoors on client properties and performing climbing and pruning duties using safe, efficient techniques. You will work as part of a crew and contribute to tree care services including pruning, removals, and cable bracing. This physically active position emphasizes safety, teamwork, attention to detail, quality, and professional client service. SavATree is a nationwide provider of tree, shrub, and lawn care services. Requirements

Desire to work outdoors in a physically active role.
Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
Willingness to learn and develop skills in tree climbing without spurs, proper pruning techniques, identifying native and introduced tree and shrub species and understanding their characteristics, tree care safety standards, and chainsaw and equipment operation.
Ability to meet the physical demands of climbing trees, working at heights, and regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a crew to provide tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
Safely operate climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment.
Apply proper pruning techniques and tree care practices.
Follow safety procedures at all times.
