About The Position

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber to join its General Tree Care Team, which works together to provide high-quality tree care and preserve the health of clients’ landscapes. The role is primarily outdoors and includes visiting properties in the community. Team members work on pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree-care tasks, following safety practices and providing excellent client service. The position also involves transporting equipment and operating vehicles to job sites. SavATree emphasizes quality and safety and provides training, development, and continuing-education opportunities to support team members’ growth and career advancement.

Requirements

Experience with proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and working knowledge of their characteristics.
Ability to climb without spurs.
Experience with tree-care safety standards.
Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
Desire to work outdoors.
Valid U.S. driver’s license to operate company vehicles; CDL required.
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
