About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to work with a 2- to 4-person tree crew. The role assists with tree removal, pruning, and general tree preservation. Climbers help ensure safe tree operations, maintain assigned equipment, and communicate effectively with crew members, clients, and the public near job sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of tree-climbing experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Availability to work at least 40 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• Forestry or horticulture degree.
• ISA Certified Arborist.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with the crew leader and coworkers.
• Maintain a professional image.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Delegate work to the Groundman Operations Specialist.
• Maintain the vehicle and assigned equipment.
• Follow the company safety culture.
• Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations.
• Understand aerial lift operations.
