About The Position
Joshua Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to work on a 2- to 4-person tree crew. The role assists with tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation. The climber helps ensure safe tree operations, maintains assigned equipment, and communicates effectively with the crew. Joshua Tree Experts provides paid training to help climbers keep current with industry technology and techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience in tree climbing, rigging, and removals.
- Valid driver's license.
- Available to work at least 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the crew leader and coworkers.
- Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service.
- Delegate work to the Groundman Operations Specialist.
- Maintain the vehicle and assigned equipment.
- Follow the company safety culture and ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations.
- Assist with tree removal, pruning, and general tree preservation.
- Understand aerial lift operations.
