About The Position

As a Tree Climber on the General Tree Care Team, you will help maintain and preserve clients’ landscapes. The work includes climbing and pruning large shade trees and ornamental trees, performing removals and cable bracing, and safely operating chainsaws, related equipment, and aerial lifts (bucket trucks). You will work outdoors as part of a team to deliver high-quality service while applying industry safety standards. The role offers opportunities to work at properties in the community and use climbing expertise to protect and enhance landscapes.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and their characteristics.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment.
• Experience operating aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
