About The Position

As a Tree Climber with Joshua Tree Experts in Potomac Valley, you will play an important role on a 2-to-4-person crew, assisting with tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques. You will help ensure safe operations, maintain assigned vehicles and equipment, and delegate work to Groundsman Operations Specialists. You will also serve as a key communicator for the crew, clients, and the public near the job site. The position is year-round and full-time, with a stated availability requirement of at least 40 hours per week. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 4 years of tree climbing experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Understanding of aerial lift operations.
Availability to work at least 40 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Forestry or Horticulture.
ISA Certified Arborist certification, or willingness to obtain it.
