About The Position
Joshua Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Tree Climber in Little Rock. The Tree Climber works with a 2- to 4-person tree crew and assists with tree removal, pruning, and preservation. This role is important to the crew’s safe and professional operations. It involves maintaining assigned equipment, communicating with coworkers, clients, and the public near job sites, and supporting the crew leader.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 4 years of tree-climbing experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Understanding of aerial lift operations.
Nice To Haves
- Forestry or Horticulture degree.
- ISA Certified Arborist.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the crew leader and coworkers.
- Maintain a professional image.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Delegate work to the Groundman Operations Specialist.
- Maintain the vehicle and assigned equipment.
- Follow the company’s safety culture.
- Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations.
- Assist with tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques.
- Ensure safe tree operations.
- Communicate with clients and the public near the job site.
