About The Position
Nevada Dental Benefits Ltd., is seeking a full time Treatment Coordinator to support the delivery of patient centered care in a new, state of the art, integrated medical facility located in Las Vegas, NV. The new, innovative center provides coordinated medical, dental and vision primary care to a diverse patient population. We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator that has a desire to motivate patients and encourage excellent oral health as an important part of overall health and wellbeing. We are a team of health professionals motivated by providing excellent care and customer service. The Center: Located in the city of Las Vegas, NV, this new, innovative Center provides coordinated medical, dental and vision primary care to a diverse patient population working in the service industries in Las Vegas. The dental facility contains 15 state-of-the-art operatories, supported by a sophisticated Electronic Health Record/Practice Management Solution, digital radiography, digital imaging, and associated technologies.
Requirements
- knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, diagnosis and codes
- Knowledge of insurance benefits and coordination
- knowledge of computer and familiarity with dental practice management software
- knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Treatment Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Organize referrals to other medical specialists
- Provide and explain treatment plans to patients
- Entering information into the practice management system
- Collect and post payments from patients at time of treatment
- Assist in the creation and production of invoices
- Assist in the production of materials to be distributed to patients and prospective patients
- Greet patients and reflect the philosophy of care espoused by the practice
- Other duties as assigned by the office manager or his/her delegate
