Role Summary Orbia is seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy intern to support a Corporate Treasury initiative focused on standardizing and automating short-term cash flow forecasting across its five Business Groups. The internship is project-based and will support the design of a daily, direct-method cash forecast integrated with advanced enterprise data and reporting tools. The intern will work under the guidance of senior treasury and finance professionals and contribute to data management, automation support, validation, and documentation, enabling the release of cash tied to the operational cycle, outcome that is directly linked to enterprise value creation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Business, Finance, or a quantitatively focused discipline
  • Academic concentration in Finance, Business or Statistics
  • Coursework in corporate finance, financial accounting, statistics, and forecasting models
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAC
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to data accuracy and structure
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in research, data analysis, or data quality assurance
  • Some knowledge of Python or similar advanced tools for data analysis/management, or programming, and Agentic AI
  • Familiarity with financial statements, forecasting, or multi-period financial data
  • Experience working with structured datasets and process documentation, data organization, validation or quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Document and map current Business Group cash forecasting processes
  • Identify and reconcile data sources from treasury and ERP systems
  • Support development of automated data files and transformations
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and variance analysis
  • Assist with management reporting and dashboard preparation
  • Provide insights for building a smart forecasting tool, leveraging data, technology, processes and people
  • Prepare clear process and data documentation for treasury use
