About The Position

The Talent Acquisition function at Thornton Tomasetti is a strategic partner to the business, focused on leveraging leading technology and innovative sourcing strategies to attract the next generation of talent across our global offices. As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you will play a key role in building our early careers pipeline, supporting the recruitment of interns and entry-level professionals. You will partner closely with business leaders, universities, and candidates to deliver a seamless, engaging recruitment experience—while helping to shape the future of our engineering teams. We are a proactive, self-sourcing Talent Acquisition team, using direct outreach, campus engagement, and AI-driven tools to identify and attract high-potential talent early in their careers.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a related field (internship experience welcomed)
  • Interest in Talent Acquisition, early careers, or university recruiting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships with students, universities, and internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with technology and systems; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Workday) is a plus
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand early careers hiring needs and workforce plans
  • Support and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for interns and entry-level roles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, student groups, and early talent networks
  • Leverage Workday Recruiting to manage applications, track candidates, and ensure data accuracy
  • Utilize CRM tools and AI-driven automation through our Phenom platform to engage early talent pipelines
  • Proactively source and engage students and recent graduates through events, outreach, and digital platforms
  • Coordinate and support campus events, career fairs, and virtual engagement initiatives
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, guiding candidates through each stage of the hiring process
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to enhance early careers programs, processes, and systems
