Capital City Bank is seeking an intern for a structured, 12-week learning and professional development program. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to public and private finance, payment technologies, corporate liquidity strategy, relationship management, and sales strategy while applying academic knowledge to real-world business situations. The program includes training, progressively challenging assignments, participation in team projects and meetings, mentorship, regular coaching and feedback, and a defined project or capstone that the intern will present at the end of the program. The intern will develop communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and other professional skills; learn about roles and functions across the organization; and gain familiarity with relevant tools, systems, and workplace practices. Each intern is paired with a mentor and receives manager check-ins, midpoint and final feedback, and career-readiness guidance. The program concludes with a final review and an individual professional development plan. Interns may be considered for future employment where appropriate, but the primary purpose is structured learning and development. The position is based in Tallahassee. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and Friday, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Working conditions may include a lobby or cubicle environment, an open office, or a hybrid arrangement depending on business needs. Associates may have access to confidential client information and must use discretion at all times.
