The Technical Trainer provides product and technical training support to internal and external customers. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through training and providing satisfactory customer technical support. May include: Facilitate technical and/or sales training including installation, controls, commissioning, service, troubleshooting, product, and basic applications. Work with subject matter experts to develop or enhance curriculum as required. Prepare training facility and lab prior to training classes. Maintain training material inventory at assigned location. Maintain training facility standards, including equipment and tools. Assist in development of product and technical training programs, including curriculum and corresponding training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, videos, and manuals. Provide training support, including communication, promotion and coordination of product and technical training. Acts as a liaison between sales, product marketing, service, and training. Assist at educational or industry conferences; ability to present at conferences. Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs. Audit technical trainers 1&2 and experienced independent trainers. Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Manages projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision. Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
