About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Traveling Technician (Facilities Maintenance) within their Baton Rouge, LA region. This role involves providing maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. The technician will travel and support branches within their assigned region by performing on-site facilities service, maintenance, and repairs. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest equipment in the industry.

Requirements

Must own tools applicable to position.
Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams.
High School diploma, or equivalent.
Active applicable state class driver's license.
Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Construction knowledge and background preferred.
Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

Travel and support branches within the assigned region by performing on-site facilities service, maintenance, and repairs.
Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
Use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile phone) comfortably.
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental and customer equipment (Mobile Offices, Restroom Trailers, Turnstyles) under the supervision of higher-tier technicians and while using a high degree of independent judgment.
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
Participate in year-round company provided OEM training.
Perform other duties, assigned as needed.
