Traveling Retail Remodel Senior Lead

About The Position

SPAR is hiring experienced Remodel Senior Leads to oversee overnight retail remodel projects at major home improvement retailers throughout the Midwest and Northeast. The role combines travel, crew leadership, and hands-on construction and fixture installation work. Leads coach crews, complete remodel tasks, and help ensure projects meet quality, productivity, and safety standards. The role offers $25.00 per hour, hotel accommodations, daily meal per diem, mileage reimbursement, and payment of approved travel expenses, including tolls. Promotion to Senior Lead is available upon certification, with a career path into District Operations Management.

Requirements

Previous construction, retail remodel, fixture installation, or carpentry experience.
Prior leadership or crew lead experience.
Ability to travel extensively throughout the year.
Comfort working overnight shifts.
Comfort working on ladders and at heights up to 20 feet.
Ability to read blueprints, store layouts, or schematics.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach overnight remodel crews.
Install and reconfigure steel pallet racking and shelving systems.
Remove and replace damaged fixtures and displays.
Install store fixtures and signage.
Read blueprints and layouts.
Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Complete project reporting and communicate daily progress.
Perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and operating power equipment.
