About The Position

SPAR is seeking experienced Remodel Senior Leads to oversee overnight retail remodel projects at major home improvement retailers throughout the Midwest and Northeast. The role involves travel, leading crews, and hands-on construction and fixture installation work. Promotion to Senior Lead follows certification, with a stated career path into District Operations Management. The position pays $25.00 per hour and provides hotel accommodations, a daily meal per diem, mileage reimbursement, and payment of approved travel expenses, including tolls.

Requirements

• Previous construction, retail remodel, fixture installation, or carpentry experience.
• Prior leadership or crew lead experience.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the year.
• Comfortable working overnight shifts.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights up to 20 feet.
• Ability to read blueprints, store layouts, or schematics.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Steel-toe boots and basic hand tools.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach overnight remodel crews.
• Install and reconfigure steel pallet racking and shelving systems.
• Remove and replace damaged fixtures and displays.
• Install store fixtures and signage.
• Read blueprints and layouts.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.
• Complete project reporting and communicate daily progress.
• Perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and operating power equipment.
