About The Position

SPAR is hiring an experienced Traveling Retail Remodel Senior Lead to oversee overnight retail remodel projects at major home improvement retailers throughout the Midwest and Northeast. The role involves traveling extensively, leading and coaching crews, and completing hands-on construction and fixture installation work. SPAR describes a career path that includes promotion to Senior Lead upon certification and potential advancement into District Operations Management. The position pays $25.00 per hour. Travel benefits include hotel accommodations, a daily meal per diem, mileage reimbursement, and paid travel expenses, including approved tolls. The schedule is overnight, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The work includes physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and operating power equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet.

Requirements

Previous construction, retail remodel, fixture installation, or carpentry experience.
Prior leadership or crew lead experience.
Ability to travel extensively throughout the year.
Comfort working overnight shifts.
Comfort working on ladders and at heights up to 20 feet.
Ability to read blueprints, store layouts, or schematics.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach overnight remodel crews.
Install and reconfigure steel pallet racking and shelving systems.
Remove and replace damaged fixtures and displays.
Install store fixtures and signage.
Read blueprints and layouts.
Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Complete project reporting and communicate daily progress.
Perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and operating power equipment.
