About The Position

PDS Optical is seeking a Traveling Optician based out of the Houston, Texas VA Medical Center. The position serves Veterans by providing eyewear and patient care in a professional VA medical environment. Travel is anywhere in the United States and U.S. territories, with anticipated travel of more than 80% of the time. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with lensometers, pupilometers, and optical software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a service-driven approach.

Responsibilities
