About The Position

PDS Optical is hiring a Traveling Optician based out of the Louisville, Kentucky VA Medical Center. The role involves travel anywhere in the United States and its territories, with anticipated travel of 80% or more. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in a professional VA medical environment. The position pays $24–$26 per hour, plus 3% commissions.

The optician provides friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate service to Veterans; fits, adjusts, repairs, and dispenses eyewear; and helps deliver an exceptional patient experience. The role also involves collaborating with an optical team and complying with VA security and background requirements. Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
