About The Position

The Traveling Operations Specialist is a field-based operations role providing hands-on support wherever the LV Collective portfolio needs it. The position is designed as a development path into property leadership, multi-site operations, or regional operations. The successful candidate is energetic, organized, resourceful, and accountable, with a track record of operating strong communities and helping teams perform through change. The role requires frequent travel and may involve evenings or weekends when property conditions, transitions, or peak operating periods require it.

  • Train and coach General Managers, Community Managers, leasing teams, and new hires on LV operating standards, systems, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support onboarding of new property leaders and help them establish a strong weekly operating cadence.
  • Observe on-site execution, provide real-time feedback, and confirm that training is translated into consistent practice.
  • Create or improve practical tools, checklists, quick guides, and training materials when recurring gaps are identified.
  • Model LV expectations for ownership, urgency, communication, resident service, and follow-through.
  • Conduct focused property reviews covering lease files, rent roll, delinquency, renewals and transfers, purchasing, make-ready, resident experience, Entrata hygiene, and SOP compliance.
  • Track audit findings through resolution, communicate recurring themes, and help properties close gaps identified through audits, partner visits, takeover plans, or leadership reviews.
  • Maintain accurate action logs, trackers, and written updates so ownership and deadlines remain clear.
  • Review property reports, payables, invoice coding, budget variances, delinquency, leasing pace, and other operating indicators to identify issues requiring action.
  • Support turn and move-in readiness, including pre-turn audits, vendor and cost tracking, on-site execution, and post-turn chargeback review.
  • Assist with month-end follow-up, contract and vendor tracking, property reporting, and special operational projects.

  • Serve as flexible support for Regional Managers and the Director of Operations during vacancies, PTO, transitions, turn, move-in, and other high-volume periods.
  • Participate in assigned property, regional, and partner calls and follow through on resulting action items.
  • Support special projects, operating initiatives, policy rollouts, and portfolio audits as priorities evolve.
  • Travel frequently and work evenings or weekends when property conditions, transitions, or peak operating periods require it.
