About The Position

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment and fixtures. The mechanic will conduct general maintenance activities primarily on machinery and related equipment, maintain repair and maintenance records, and troubleshoot problems, escalating complex issues to senior coworkers. This position typically requires 3-5 years of experience and operates under broad supervision. Requirements

  • Typically has 3-5 years of experience.
  • Works under broad supervision.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with the typical problems that occur in track maintenance.
  • Must review and use standard-issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities
