About The Position

This is a full-time traveling assignment supporting Advanced Technology projects across the Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewables market segments. The role supports superintendents and foremen across projects and oversees the hiring, transfer, and layoff of trade labor. It reports to the Deputy Operations Manager and Operations Manager. The position supports project execution by coordinating field staffing, schedules, quality assurance and quality control, safety, self-perform work, workforce training and development, and operational planning. It also supports pre-construction and early project logistics and scheduling. Travel is required more than 50% of the time. The role is regularly performed onsite at construction worksites, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather, and electrical-shock risks. Noise levels range from moderate to very loud. Physical duties may include climbing stairs and ladders, using construction personnel hoists, negotiating construction areas, standing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus at least 10 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and SharePoint.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
Ability to perform the physical demands described for the role, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Operations Manager on assignments for Superintendent and Foreman positions.
Assign and coordinate trade field assignments based on project needs.
Support Superintendents throughout the duration of jobs.
Review project schedules with Superintendents and Foremen.
Keep critical activities and decisions on task and provide Required On Job (ROJ) dates to the project management team.
Document field issues affecting budget, quality, or schedule and provide them to the project management team.
Respond to subcontractor requests concerning field issues that affect budget, quality, or schedule.
Oversee Superintendents and Foremen in developing and maintaining a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
Guide implementation of the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.
Identify projects with Self-Perform opportunities and assist in developing Self-Perform proposals.
Manage Self-Perform performance.
Work with the Business Unit Safety Director to implement the Business Unit Safety Program.
Manage Review of Capabilities, Accomplishments and Progress (ReCAP) progress for field tradespeople.
Maintain a progression and succession plan for high-potential tradespeople in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
Manage training for tradespeople.
Support Business Development, Estimating, and Project Executives in developing operational plans for pursuits.
Support the Project Executive, Project Superintendent, and Project Manager in developing logistics plans and schedules during pre-construction and early project activities.
Oversee hiring, transfer, and layoff of trade labor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
