About The Position

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on complex cold storage and temperature-controlled construction projects across the United States. The role calls for a hands-on leader with knowledge of refrigerated construction who can travel nationally for extended, project-based assignments. The first assignment is anticipated to be on the West Coast.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on cold storage, refrigerated warehouse, food processing, or temperature-controlled construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of insulated panel systems, vapor barriers, thermal breaks, and specialized cold storage construction practices.
• Experience managing complex schedules and multiple subcontractors on active construction sites.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for extended project assignments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience delivering large-scale industrial or distribution facilities.
• OSHA certification or a strong safety leadership background.
• Experience working on West Coast projects or in multi-state construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Manage project schedules, subcontractors, and on-site coordination to support safety, quality, and timely delivery.
• Oversee installation and coordination of cold storage systems, including insulated metal panels, refrigeration infrastructure, freezer and cooler environments, and temperature-controlled building envelopes.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain clear communication and execution.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements across job sites.
• Maintain detailed daily reports, site documentation, and progress tracking.
• Identify risks, resolve field issues, and maintain project momentum.
