About The Position

Wachter is seeking a dedicated, safety-conscious Electrical Project Foreman for a full-time, long-term career opportunity. This position requires 100% nationwide travel, working on the road across various commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate is a licensed electrician with a proven track record of leading field crews, takes pride in quality workmanship, and project execution. Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Electrician with proven experience as a Lead or Foreman in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Proficient with trade testing instruments (voltmeters, ammeters, meggers) and the operation of large tools (threading, hydraulic bending, and tugging equipment).
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70E standards and proper ARC flash PPE.
• Certified to operate boom and scissor lifts, with the ability to work comfortably at heights.
• Must possess basic hand tools, personal PPE, and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• 100% comfortable working on the road full-time and operating unsupervised or with teams of 4–20 electricians.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years).
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead small crews of 2–8 electricians, providing clear daily instruction, guidance, and training.
• Install, layout, and troubleshoot various electrical systems, switchgear, conduits, cable trays, heat tracing, and freeze protection systems.
• Conduct functional tests on new systems, inspect electrical components to diagnose issues, and perform updates or repairs on legacy systems.
• Assist with pre-installation planning by designing technical solutions; interpret blueprints, site maps, drawings, and one-lines.
• Set up and pull conductors, install grounding systems, perform CAD welding, and manage lighting circuits (120v–480v).
• Provide clear, prompt daily updates to Project Managers, customers, and field team members.
• Adhere strictly to all corporate, customer, and OSHA safety regulations, ensuring systems meet all applicable local, state, and federal codes.
