About The Position

Aria Care Partners is seeking a Traveling Dental Assistant to provide treatment to patients in long-term care facilities. The assistant works with the DDS, clinical staff, facility staff, clinical schedulers, and nursing staff to support treatment and ensure facility needs are met. The role covers the employee’s home market, with driving within a radius of up to 2–3 hours. Mileage reimbursement and partial paid drive time are provided, and a portion of each workday is spent working from home.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of clinical experience as a chairside dental assistant.
• Valid driver’s license with no moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Willingness to travel within a 3-hour radius.
• Own reliable transportation.
• X-ray certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DDS with patient treatment in long-term care facilities.
• Work with clinical schedulers and nursing staff to ensure facility needs are met.
• Transport, set up, and take down equipment and supplies in the workspace designated by the facility.
• Coordinate patient charts with nursing home contacts.
• Enter chart notes at the time of treatment.
• Clean and maintain dental equipment regularly.
• Inventory supplies and order them as needed.
• Ship and receive denture cases from the laboratory daily.
